Stop Feeling Sad (For No Reason)

Stop feeling sad for no reason. Stop placing all of your happiness into whether or not your crush will text you back. Stop feeling a vague sense of melancholy, something that you aren’t able to pinpoint but you know is there.

I woke up today feeling that quiet sense of melancholy. The steps I took on the way to the bathroom felt heavy and when I looked at myself in the mirror, I could see myself cringing. This doesn’t happen very often, I don’t usually meet the day with a “Screw you!” kind of attitude but when I do, I get angry. How is it possible to feel so crappy at 8:30 in the morning? Actually wait, how is it possible to feel great at 8:30 in the morning? This is dumb though. These feelings aren’t real. I’m choosing to be in a sour mood. When there’s nothing there to make me feel sad, it’s quite clear that I’m the reason. I’m the one who’s making myself feel miserable. And since I’m the one who got me there, I can also be the one who gets me out.

For those of us who don’t have chemical imbalances but are rather just prone to feeling a boatload of emotions, we have to learn not to indulge every thought we have. It’s difficult though. With people who suffer from analysis paralysis and melancholia, it’s like we’re constantly betraying ourselves. We get upset over minute things and then get upset over the fact that we’re upset. We get sad that the amazing person we went on a date with last week hasn’t asked us to go on another one, and then we get angry at ourselves for giving the person so much power. We choose the things that control us. We give our phone a lot of power. We get bummed out about text messages and phone calls and, oh my god, it shows that they read my text but haven’t responded back! We give the internet a lot of power. When someone doesn’t follow us back on Twitter or write on our Facebook wall, we fall into a spiral of grief. Why?

We need to start figuring out what emotions are legitimate and which ones are bogus. If you’re feeling things every minute of every day, some posers are bound to sneak in through the back door of your brain. These posers are meant to veer you off track and get you upset for no reason, but they don’t come from a genuine place. They’re as fake as a Prada bag on Canal Street. We don’t like to admit it but sometimes we like falling into ruts for no reason. It reminds us that we’re alive and that SOMETHING is happening to us. Who cares if it’s good or bad?! I’m sad and it’s better than nothing!

Except it’s not better. In fact it’s a lot worse. All of those times you feel this vague sense of sadness, all of those times you let the posers in, add up to something major in the end. So we have to stop indulging every emotion we have. We have to realize we have control over these Monica “JUST ONE OF THEM DAYS” kinds of moods. Because they’re so not real. Seriously. Screw Monica for giving vague sadness some power! Not a month goes by that someone doesn’t post that video on their Facebook with the caption: “Sing it, Monica. Just one of them days…” Give yourself more credit than that. You know what I did this morning when I felt myself going into Monica territory? I stopped the “Just one of them days” bus and danced to some Rolling Stones. Now I’m all better. Don’t let your emotions punk you. Chances are you’re feeling something that’s not even there.

I hate when people compare Harry Potter and Twilight. They're not even close to the same thing. Stephanie Meyer can write what she wants to and J.K. Rowling can write what she wants to. All you "fans" out there who trash Twilight need to get a life. They're not even similar to each other. J.K. Rowling is still a little rude to Stephanie Meyer. And all you people who say this stuff turn around and watch shows like the Vampire Diaries which are vaguely similar to Twilight. I love Harry Potter and Twilight equally and I'm proud.

Exhibit of Instructional Materials for Gifted and Talented

     This is the first ever exhibit conducted by our class. The exhibit was our final requirement in SPED 6. Each student must create an instructional material for gifted and talented in accordance to their multiple intelligence. The exhibit was held in the CED Lobby and our professors and even the principals of SPED Schools from different regions went to the exhibit. They were very amazed when they saw our IMs and they even rated us with high marks. We were so glad that the exhibit went well.

Oh boy, you caught my attention

I go far and beyond to find out who somebody is if I am interested in you.

If I am attracted to you then I will

• Search for you on facebook
• If your profile is open, oh best believe I will be looking at all of your pictures, statuses, wall posts, comments etc…
• If we always bump into each other at a certain time at a certain location, I will continue to be there at that time at that location just because I know you will be there.
• I will find out who you hang out with, if there’s a certain crew you mostly chill with or if there’s a girl that you are always laughing with
• I will find out how your behavior is just by how you interact with others
• I will pay attention to the way you walk, talk and swiftly move when someone calls out your name
• I will observe if you approach women first or wait until they approach you
• I will observe if you smile a lot
• If you are into making music or singing, then more than likely you have a youtube page, so I will find your videos and just continue to observe who you are by watching your videos
• I will pay attention to your facebook statuses to see if they’re vulgar, spiritual, sexual, casual or inspirational
• I will pay attention to the way that you dress 
• If I had a twitter, you know I will be following your ass
• I will try to find out if there is a particular girl who you talk to a lot and see how you guys interact so I can determine whether or not you guys are together

There are just so many more things, too, but you get the list of it. That is just how I am. I don’t think it’s bad lol because this is on the low. I’m not scary face to face. I don’t make it obvious to the person or hardly to anyone else that I am doing all of this. This is just a precaution that I take because it helps me to figure out the type of person you are.

It’s also so much fun, too. Lol it’s fun knowing so much about a person and the person hardly knows that I know all of this stuff or hardly knows who I am. LOL.

     HOLLYWOOD – Selena Gomez announced that she is pregnant. And Justin Bieber is the father!

     

As TMZ first reported, Selena Gomez was rushed to the hospital on Thursday after taping an appearance on “The Tonight Show,” complaining of nausea and a severe headache.

Sources tell WNN that Gomez underwent a number of tests for blood pressure issues, but doctors could not determine what was causing the problem.

     Until yesterday… when Selena Gomez announced she is pregnant.  And she proudly stated that Justin Bieber is the father!

     Publicists for Gomez and Bieber are both denying the pregnancy, but WWN talked to insiders in both the Gomez and Bieber camps and they confirmed that Selena is pregnant.  They also told WWN that both are “thrilled” and can’t wait to have the baby.

4th Division Fun Day

       The juniors and seniors of BEED-SpEd from USEP were pulled out from their classes last September 22-23, 2011 by the Department of Education to let the students officiate the games to be played by the CSN (children with Special Needs). The participants were from different schools (both public and private) and really had a hard time 'cause the coaches were vicious to every officiating official because they badly wanna win - if they win, they will be the representatives from our city to participate the Palarong Pambansa. It was tiring but a day filled with experience 'cause I was able to do some "hands-on" with the kids. :)

It is said to be owned by Real Estate tycoon Manny Villar, the developer of Vista Land and other residential estates in the Philippines.

      It's only three minutes drive away from my home and five minutes drive from Mintal Commercial District. Too bad they didn't started this project when I was still in high school, I'm pretty sure it would be the students' favorite spot to hang-out with their friends.
